Welcome to the first free day in my holidays. By free, I mean project free, social activity free but unfortunately, not tension free.
It's PSLE results release day and even as I type, I am waiting for my cousin to phone me with good news. Really hope he can go to a good school because it may push him to work harder and realise his full potential.
Anyway, yesterday was an eventful day as well. I went to MJC early in the morning for a trial microteaching lesson. I think I did pretty well but I told MJC I have been accepted by XJC. The Chem head was a little disappointed (she claims) and said she may put in a request for me nonetheless.
After that, I went to the library to look for Aussie guidebooks. Had lunch with Daniel and then we went to Orchard to meet HS and G. Spent the afternoon planning our six days in Melbourne. Well, the itinerary:
11 Dec: Internal transfer from Sydney to Melbourne, check in hotel, recce around the area to look for groceries shop and get sandwich fixings, cookies, meusli bars etc.
12 Dec: Victoria Market in the morning, then lunch there. A day trip to Warrock Cattle Farm and then Philip Island for penguin parade.
13 Dec: Visiting the city, haven't decided exactly which spots yet. Yarra South, Federation Square, Royal Botanical Gardens?
14 Dec: Tour to the Grampians
15 Dec: Drive out to Great Ocean Road and then Mornington Peninsula (can we make it?), hopefully dinner at Sorrento.
16 Dec: Last minute shopping, then transfer back to Sydney.
I can't believe we have less than 2 weeks before the trip!
Anyway, it's 12.16 p.m. now and I am still waiting for my cousin to call!
